Find the Perfect Place to Stay

As with any getaway, the first step to planning a Lake Havasu trip this winter is finding the perfect place to stay. Our Lake Havasu vacation rental features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms so there is plenty of space for the whole family, or a group of friends.

Of course there is plenty to do in Lake Havasu, but don't forget to plan some time to stay back and enjoy The Place. You will find a fully equipped kitchen, arcade games, a beautiful pool and outdoor entertaining space, corn hole and Bocce Ball, a putting green, a 70" outdoor HDTV, and an HDTV in each bedroom.

Taste Some Local Craft Beers

Lake Havasu is a great place to eat out, with plenty of restaurants to try. If you enjoy craft beer, you will love the variety of choices you can find in town. Take an evening or two on your trip to taste some local craft beer from Mudshark Brewery and Public House, Barley Brothers Brewery,  or College Street Brewhouse and Pub.

Go Kayaking

Even when the water gets too cold for swimming, it never freezes over and is perfect for a peaceful kayak. Rent one to take out on the Bridgewater Channel and enjoy a peaceful, scenic ride.

Go Mountain Biking

Winter is the perfect time to go mountain biking in Lake Havasu, with mild temperatures that will make it comfortable to ride for hours. From gently rolling hills to intense off-road rides, there is something for every skill level and adrenaline threshold.

Take a Hike

Another ideal way to enjoy the mild winter weather in Lake Havasu is to go hiking. There are more trails in the area than you could possibly explore in one trip, but start with this list of hiking trails in the Lake Havasu area to choose one that suits your skill level and timeframe.

Plan a Fishing Trip

No matter what time of year, Lake Havasu is a great place to go fishing. Hire a local fishing guide or rent a boat and set out on your own. Either way, we think you will love this relaxing way to enjoy Lake Havasu this winter. Don't forget that everyone over the age of 10 who plans to fish will need an Arizona fishing license, which can be found at any of the local bait & tackle shops or online through the Arizona Fish & Game Department.
